The news of an arrest had not shocked Fletcher. Whoever had done this had done a good job of framing him for it. He doubted that the killer had framed him, as opposed to just someone. He was impressed with (and appalled by) the murder and the cruelty with which it had been executed. Will I ever know how he did it.? I wish I knew. Of course my knowing would only be more evidence against me.

Fletcher woke up in his hospital bed. He was still in pain, and the Naproxen didnt do jack. He was still bothered by the charges on his head, as they werent cleared yet. It was 5 am. Yawn. He was too lazy, besides the fact that he had multiple IVs feeding him Naproxen, to get up and go the kitchen on the floor below. He pressed a small button to page a nurse.
Yes? the nurse answered in a happy voice.
Can I get a box of teabags. He mumbled.
No water? the nurse was bewild
